Ready to import your first list? Great!
First you need to remember that SMS.Studio can handle .csv and .txt files.

Files can be in the following format:

Column Title
number1
number2
number3

and also,
number,first name, last name,country,etc...

Example:

130720123456,John,Smith,USA,etc...

Another important thing to remember is the format.
Carriers will handle phone numbers that are in an international format so,
if you're in France for example, the correct for would be 33700555596 not NOT the local format of  0700555596.

Within your excel (.CSV file) - you must set the cells as numbers with no decimals.

You can import contact to a new list or edit an existing list and import contacts to it.
In order to create a new list and import contacts to it, simply go to 'List Management', click on 'Create List', give your list a name and click the 'Create' button.

Now you can browse your local machine for the file you wish to import.

After selecting a file (.txt or .csv, remember?), click the 'Upload List' button.

You will now need to assign the relevant fields - make sure the first fields is mapping to the phone number (your key value). The rest are optional (first name for example).

When done, click on the 'Import' button.

That's it, you're done!

When the import process finishes, you can navigate to the 'Top Counties' tab to make sure you have enough data from each country and that it's matching your data goals.
